FAQs
Let’s clear up
the questions.
Straightforward answers about working with a public adjuster and preparing for a property claim review.
Who does Big Spring Public Adjuster work for?
We assist insured property owners. A public adjuster represents the policyholder in a property insurance claim, while the insurance company’s adjuster works for the insurer. Services are provided by Rise Public Adjusting LLC, Texas license 3356839.
What is included in a free claim review?
An initial conversation about the property damage, the current stage of your claim, and your questions. We discuss whether further review may be useful and explain potential services and fees before you decide whether to hire us.
Can you review a denied or underpaid claim?
Yes. We can examine the insurer’s explanation, the available documentation, and the policy provisions involved. A review may identify questions or missing evidence; it does not promise that a decision can be changed or that additional payment is available.
Do you assist with both homes and commercial properties?
Yes. We help with residential and commercial property claims in Big Spring and the surrounding West Texas area. The work depends on the property, loss, policy, and written engagement.
When should I get in touch?
Contact us when you have questions about property damage or an existing claim. Keep meeting the deadlines in your policy and insurer correspondence. Speaking with us does not pause a notice, proof-of-loss, suit, or other deadline.
How are public adjusting fees handled?
The initial claim review is free. Any representation is subject to a separate written agreement describing services, fees, and applicable terms. Ask how fees apply to money already offered or paid and what costs you would remain responsible for.
Can you promise coverage or a larger settlement?
No. Coverage and payments depend on the policy, facts, exclusions, limits, deductibles, and claim evaluation. We cannot guarantee acceptance, a payment increase, a settlement amount, or a completion date.
Should I wait to make emergency repairs?
Put safety first. Follow emergency instructions and take reasonable steps to prevent further damage when safe, consistent with your policy. Keep photographs and receipts. Do not climb onto a damaged roof or enter an unsafe building to collect evidence.
Does sending the form hire a public adjuster?
No. Sending an inquiry or speaking with us does not create a public adjuster-client relationship. Representation begins only after the required written agreement is completed and accepted.
Are you a contractor or an attorney?
Public adjusting addresses the preparation and presentation of property insurance claims. We do not provide legal advice or perform repairs as part of public adjusting services. Consult a qualified Texas attorney about legal rights, releases, or disputed deadlines.
